A KILWINNING dad has hit out at an Irvine Shopping Centre after his daughter was left in agony following an incident on a mall escalator. However, bosses at the Rivergate Shopping Centre have responsibility, placing the blame firmly on four-year-old Jamie-Leigh Kirkham's father.

GRAVESIDE robberies which were left unreported by grieving Kilwinning families are now being investigated by police, thanks to the Times. Last week, the Times reported that ornaments, trinkets and other personal items left by mourners at Kilwinning Cemetery had been robbed by heartless thieves.

WORRIED Sheltered Housing residents and their families have blasted a decision to scrap wardens who man the complexes across Irvine and Kilwinning. The Times spoke to residents of one Irvine complex who were adamant that everyone living in sheltered housing needed the help of the wardens.

Mourners slate state of Kilwinning Cemetery
A KILWINNING man has spent FIVE years campaigning to get Kilwinning Cemetery cleaned - but is still waiting for the council to act. John Harrison has campaigned vigorously with his wife and many friends and relatives buried in the cemetery. He told the Times that whole area was a "disgrace".
