VERMIN CITY
By Kevin Dyson
RESIDENTS of an Irvine street are being terrorised by a wave of vermin and vandals.
People living in Seaton Terrace claim they have been hit by infestations of black mice - disturbed when diggers started work on a nearby housing development.
They also claim youths are using the displaced soil to climb up and throw stones at house and car windows and are calling on fencing to be erected to prevent kids getting into the site.
The mounds of dirt - which are taller than the fences at the back of the adjacent housing - have also been a gathering point for gangs of youths who have taken to throwing stones at houses and cars.
