When Alan Mark proposed to sweetheart Debbie Pryde last Valentines Day, he never dreamed his wedding would be such a painful experience.
The couple, who have been together for three years, spent months arranging the perfect wedding.
But disaster struck less that two months before the big day when Alan, 38, slipped off a ladder and landed painfully on his feet breaking his heel.
Doctors thought the aerial and satellite installer would have to spend months in bed but he was determined to make it to the church on time.
And in a second freak accident, Alan’s younger brother John, 28, who was one of the ushers, smashed his pelvis in a freak accident while in the pool on holiday in Spain three weeks ago.
