HUNT FOR IRVINE MURDERER

POLICE are hunting a killer after an Irvine barber was found stabbed to death in his own home last week.

William Stewart's body was found in his Fleming Terrace home on Friday morning.

A post-mortem on the 50-year-old confirmed that the police were treating his death as murder.

Mr Stewart, a barber at the Indoor Market in Bank Street, was last seen on Wednesday and police are looking to speak to anyone who may have seen him between Wednesday and Friday.
