SANTA LET DOWN AT CHRISTMAS

AN INNOCENT Santa Claus was savagely attacked and dra gged down a street by a heartless thug - causing him to puncture.

The six foot inflatable Santa was dragged from a front garden in Bourtreehill on Saturday 15 December but was soon discarded.

The decoration was thrown into a near by garden and left unuseable.

Police are hunting a suspect seen in the area at the time.

He is described as being in his early 20s, with dark hair and wearing a white shell suit.
