AN IRVINE man has admitted having sex with his aunt.
However, the 52-year-old aunt has told the Times of her disgust at claims she had consented to incest with her 25-year-old nephew.
Stephen Thomas Green, of Woodlands Avenue, admitted to having sex with Moira Compton at her home on February 19 last year.
He pled guilty to the charge at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court last week and will be sentenced next month after background reports are looked at.
Speaking exclusively to the Times Mrs Compton said she was horrified by the thought that people would think that she had slept with her nephew.
The widow, who has suffered from years of depression and lost her partner three years ago, told us: “I was out with some friends at the karaoke and had a few drinks.
“At 11pm Stephen Green came in. Later on I asked him if he wanted to come in for a drink, but I just wanted a bit of company and he was my nephew so I didn’t bother about it.
“I asked him what he wanted to drink and he said to me ‘you look dead sexy in those glasses’.”
“There is no way I would have wanted to have sex with my nephew. What sort of aunt would do that?
“Incest is absolutely disgusting and I would be horrified if people thought that I would want to have sex with my nephew.
“We were never close and he was never around here.”
Mrs Compton told us that she hoped Green would be jailed when he comes up for sentencing next month.
When approached by the Times Green refused to comment.
