GUILTY graveyard thieves returned a stolen statue - days after it vanished from crime-hit Kilwinning Cemetery.
A stunned 77-year-old widow could not believe the sentimental ornamnet had disppeared from her late husband's grave and raised the alarm.
However, three days later the stone fox she had laid in memory of her husband miraculously re-appeared - in another part of the cemetery.
