BOMB experts believe there is a dangerous Nazi legacy lying under parts of Irvine - unexploded live devices.
And shocking new statistics reveal there could be as many as 25 World War II devices dropped around the Irvine area by German fighter planes during the war.
Specialists using RAF aeriel photographs and insurance maps have pinpointed dangerspots where they think Luftwaffe pilots would have dropped unexploded bombs (UXBs), missing their targets trying to lighten their loads.
