Landrover trek is rally big success
A DARING Irvine duo were given a shock after a 3000-mile charity rally they only took up for a good cause and the experience - coming fourth on their very first attempt.
David Clark, of Springside, and Kenny McCallum, of Girdle Toll, had joined up to take part in the Landy Rally in David's trusted Land Rover, in order to raise money for CHAS.
But, up against a number of more experienced rally drivers they managed to finish fourth out of 31 teams, as well as raising over £2500 for charity.
