OAPS HAD TO PAY FOR A WASH

A PENSIONER living in an Irvine sheltered housing complex has hit out after she and her husband were left with no hot water for over a week.
Workers were unable to repair the fault at Greenbank Court and the pair had no option but to pay for a visit to a hotel - just so they could wash themselves with hot water.
She raged: "It was disgraceful."
