OPPOSITION councillors have failed in their attempt to reverse the controversial decision to scrap sheltered housing wardens.
SNP group leader Alan Hill had attempted to persuade his colleagues to change their minds following the original decision as part of budget deliberations in February.
But councillors voted against bringing back the wardens last Wednesday.
