SEVERAL fans were arrested as Irvine Meadow crashed out of the OVD Scottish Junior Cup 2-1 to Bathgate.
Strathclyde Police confirmed five Meadow fans and one Bathgate supporter were involved in trouble at Firhill Stadium in Glasgow, where the teams were fighting for a place in the cup final.
The game was also a bad tempered affair with two red and 11 yellow cards being shown.
