HIGHLY ambitious Irvine Meadow are celebrating marking what boss Chris Strain describes as their ‘biggest ever signing’.

The Irvine side on Tuesday confirmed they have landed Stranraer FC club captain Derek Dexi Wingate.

The 29-year-old central defender and Junior Scotland international on Monday signed a three year deal.

Meanwhile it emerged central defender Brian McIntosh has left Meadow to join Cumbernauld United.
