Mick McCabe’s side, the three time Famous Grouse Scottish Cup winners and nine-time British Energy Ayrshire Cup winners hammered poor Ballantrae Kings Arms 31-0 in the opening round of this season’s competition at Knockentiber Public Park.
It was a club record victory and is also understood to be a record in Ayrshire.
Alan Parker bagged ELEVEN goals, a club record with Robert Robertson bulging the net SEVEN times. Gavin Cairns netted four goals with Gary Greig and Davie Mitchell each securing hat-tricks and Ryan Miller a double with the other goal an own goal.
