LEGENDARY Kilwinninig foootballer Julie Fleeting is celebrating yet another accolade.
The Scotland Ladies captain and Arsenal Ladies striker has been awarded Sports Personality of the Year at this year's Field In Trust awards ceremony, formerly the Playing Fields association.
Julie joins an elite group of sportsmen and women to receive this award; past recipients include racing driver Sir Jackie Stewart, sprinter Lee McConnell, snooker player stephen Hendry, and ex-Scotland Manager Craig Brown.
She was given the award in recognition of her achievements, reaching 100 international caps and goals for Scotland and was praised as being a fantastic role model for young people.
