FORM team Buffs extended their unbeaten run to 13 games on Monday night as they held the Lanarkshire visitors to retain third spot.
Few chances were created in the first half with both midfields dominant.
In 15 minutes Buffs came close when a Stevie McCulloch shot from 25 yards looked goalbound but it took a deflection off a defender.
Then just before half-time a George Wallace header from an S McCulloch corner kick was well handled by the Gow keeper.
The visitors had their only chance of the opening period in 28 minutes when a long ball through the defence came to the visiting number nine but Keith Ross blocked the ball and it bounced away.
The second half was a damp squib with no chances and midfield very much in charge.
