BIG-SPENDING Irvine Meadow have raided rival Stagecoach Super League Premier Division champions Pollock and Scottish Cup finalists Cumnock to land some of the top talent in junior football as they gear up for a major title challenge next season.

They have secured the prized signatures of former Scottish Junior Cup winner Stevie Farrell and Cumnock teammate Chris McGowan.

Midfield marvels Zander Ryan and Paul Hyslop from Lok have been snapped up from Lok, along with full-back Kevin McBride from Division Three snior side East Stirling.

Check out this week's Times for general manager Iain McQueen's delighted reaction to the new signings.
