PROMOTION-CHASING Irvine Victoria have pulled off two massive summer signings and boss Rab Madden is hopeful the pair will give his side the boost they need to build on last season and climb out of the Ayrshire District League.

Attacking midfielder Tony McCann has been snapped up on a free transfer from league rivals Dalry Thistle whilst defender Graham Dale has been signed from Stagecoach Premier Division outfit Neilston Juniors.

28-year-old McCann has been tracked by Madden for a while and the boss believes he is exactly the type of player his side need in the middle of the park.

Check out this week's Times for more on the Vics' transfer activity.
