Irvine Vics 1 v 1 Cambuslang Rangers (Cambuslang won 4-2 on penalties)
HEROIC Vics keeper Chris McCue saved a penalty to ensure the tie was level at full-time but the visiting goalie outdid him by stopping two spot kicks in the shootout to help the Wee Rangers retain the Thomas Loach Memorial Trophy.
Vics started brightly in the annual contest when Craig Kippen skinned his marker before cutting the ball back to Gary Madden who smashed the ball home to give the home side a deserved lead.
However the Wee Gers quickly stormed back into the game.
