IRVINE GAILES veteran Bill Lockie, 60, qualified for last weekend's Senior Open.
The Ayrshire man, who lives in Troon, attracted a big following on his hometown course.
However he sadly missed the cut after carding rounds of an eight over par 79 and a 15 over par 86.
