Dalry Thistle 1 v 7 Irvine Meadow
UNDERSTRENGTH Meadow swept aside their North Ayrshire rivals in a one-sided friendly at Merksworth Park.
The game illustrated the gulf in quality between the hosts and Stagecoach Super League Premier Division cracks Meadow, who are two divisions above them.
The visitors led 3-0 at half-time courtesy of goals from new signings John Bradford and Chris McGowen, while Gavin Friels also netted.
Alan Kerr pulled a goal back for the home side with a penalty just after the break.
However Emilio Jaconelli bagged a second-half hat-trick with Chris Strain junior bagging the other goal.
