Beith Juniors 1 v 4 Irvine Meadow

DESPITE the slightly flattering scoreline and a spirited fightback, Meadow had enough to overcome their hosts and progress into tonight's (Wednesday) semi-final against Maybole.

The visitors took the lead aftre 10 minutes when Barry McLaughlin picked up a loose ball before finding Friels who placed his finish in off the post.

Meanwhile on Saturday Meadow continued their unbeaten start to the new league campaign.

Goals from Chris Strain and sub Paul Hyslop were enough to secure a 2-0 victory at home to Vale of Clyde.
