STRUGGLING Kilwinning Rangers went back to the future on Monday when they appointed Gary Faulds as manager for a second time, just two weeks after Alan McTurk quit the Abbey Park hotseat.
Now the new man is looking to steer the club back to the Stagecoach Super League Premier Division but is firstly looking to help motivate a team low on confidence with just one point from four league games and is set to make his son, midfielder/forward Chris his first signing if an agreement can be reached with Renfrew.
Four candidates were in the frame for the job but the committee opted for Faulds owing to his experience and the success he enjoyed in his previous stint with the club, from 2000 until 2003, winning a trophy in every season he was in charge.
For more on the new appointment check out this week's times.
