Boxing: Ryan hopes for New Year return
BOXER Ryan Brawley is itching to get back into the ring and hopes to take part in the televised Sky Sports prizefighter event in the new year.
The fast-rising Irvine lightweight needs a knee operation after ripping knee cartilage in June, just two weeks after defeating Jamie McKeever at the Kelvin Hall, stopping him in the seventh round in Glasgow, and this has ruled him out of action until the end of the year.
