Kilwinning Rangers 3 v 0 Newburgh
BATTLING Buffs turned in one of their most accomplished performances of the season defeating the Fifers to chalk up only their second victory so far.
Boss Gary Faulds gave a debut to goalkeeper Chris Wilson, signed from East Kilbride Thistle in midweek, and the new number one made a fine first impression, saving a penalty-kick and helping give the defence, which has toiled in recent weeks, new-found confidence.
The visitors started strongly and scored in eight minutes and when a clearance landed on the halfway line and Alan Shields sent agreat through-ball into the box where James Tyler scored from six yards.
