BUDGET CUTS WON'T BE A PAIN-FREE SOLUTION
I HAVE to admit that I don't envy councillors and council officials who are involved in making ends meet in the budget process. IT'S TIME REAL ACTION WAS TAKEN TO SAVE THE CARRICK

TV and film doommongers are forever moaning that there are no new ideas out there any more. And after this year - when Star Trek was one of the best performing films - you've got to wonder if that's a fair summation of the entertainment industry.
