JOIN in a couple hours of fun for all the family.
Girdle Toll Parish Church invite families in the community of Girdle Toll and Lawthorn to go along to the church halls on the first Friday of the month from 6pm till 8pm to share a time of fun and fellowship together.
During their family sessions they will play games, sing songs, share a short worship session through a Bible themed story, and join in craft workshops. The session ends with a shared meal together. Since starting Messy Church at Girdle Toll Church monthly organisers have welcomed many families who have enjoyed the experience along with their children and they have continued to attend.
The next session will be this coming Friday, November 28 and activities will be based around Advent and Christmas and everyone will be made most welcome. The sessions are free of charge but children must be accompanied by family members.
Messy Church reaches out to families who for various reasons cannot attend Sunday services although some of our families attend church, Sunday School, Boys Brigade and Girls’ Brigade also meeting at the church.
