IRVINE'S Scottish Maritime Museum has reopened to the public following a winter shake-up.
Many of the displays and facilities in the Linthouse Engine shop have been re-arranged while some previously unseen items will be making their first public appearance.
Among the items making their first appearance will be a two thirds scale model of a helicopter built at the Denny Shipyard at the beginning of the 20th Century.
The museum's quayside display area will re-open in the early summer but visitors can still see "Kyles", the oldest Clyde-built vessel to remain afloat in the UK, which is currently being painted on the museum slipway.
The museum is now open seven days a week from 10am to 5pm.
