The search for a missing man has ended with the recovery of his body from the River Irvine - the second such tragedy in as many weeks.
The body of John Mitchell, 40, was pulled from the river in Irvine on Wednesday, February 9, just four days after another missing man's body was found in the same place.
The discovery followed an extensive search by police and a media appeal to help trace Mr Mitchell, who had not been seen for several days.
