A KILWINNING man who subjected his former partner to a three-hour attack which left her with a catalogue of injuries is facing jail.
Earl Upton, 48, repeatedly punched and kicked his victim before biting her on the head, seizing her by the throat and striking her head off a toilet.
Neighbours heard the lengthy, drink-fuelled attack which happened after Upton's victim visited his home in Glenapp Place, Pennyburn, last November.
Sentence was deferred on jobless Upton at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court after he was was found guilty of assault.
