AYRSHIRE MP Brian Donohoe has also accepted his fate and completed the Ice Bucket Challenge - but he has chosen to donate to Macmillan Cancer Care.
The MP said: “I am so thankful for my nominations from Councillor Ian Clarkson and my colleague Jim O’Neill and I take great pleasure in nominating the Editors of the Ayrshire weekly papers, Brenda Ritchie, Managing Director of Westsound and Irvine Beat FMs Peter Lockhart.
“The Ice Bucket Challenge is a craze which has swept the world and I am aware that it was started for ALS in America but that it has however supported many charities here in the UK and raised much needed funds.
