A KILWINNING woman is facing trial over allegedly endangering and ill-treating a baby.
Toni Ann Shaw, 22, appeared at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court last week charged with wilfully ill-treating a 19-month-old child causing unnecessary suffering or injury on November 12.
She also charged with being under the influence and failing to properly supervise the child and failing to get medical attention.
Shaw, of Ladyford Avenue, is also charged with failing to ensure that sharp objects were not available to the child. She further charges of assaulting two police officers and spitting on them the following day, on November 13 at an address in Ladyford Avenue.
She pled not guilty to all charges. The trial was set for December.
