CENTRAL Ayrshire MP Philippa Whitford took the plunge into the chilly waters off Prestwick on Boxing Day.
She joined more than 200 other brave souls for the 10th anniversary of ‘Dip wi a Nip’at Prestwick Esplanade.
And she even dressed up as a Hawaiian Hula girl for the occasion.
The annual event raises funds for the charity CLIC Sargent.
Joining the MP were a cast of other characters, including a couple of clowns, snowmen, Santa’s and even a few penguins.
A fantastic, but cold, time was had by all who took part in the charity day.
The result was over £21,000 raised, with more still to come in.
Well done to everyone who took part in the event.
