EVER thought about zip-sliding across the Harbour?

Well now you can as the Irvine charity Coastwatch will let thrill-seekers glide over the Harbour on Saturday, June 26.

The group - who offer essential coastline safety - are hoping to raise more money to fund their redevelopment of the Pilot House.

Coastwatch will also be holding another beach clean on Saturday, May 7, following the success of last year’s event.

Dozens of residents from Irvine and across North Ayrshire joined politicians and Coastwatch volunteers in helping to tidy up Irvine beach.

Hours of fun activities are planned including a live roadshow from the Irvine Beat FM team.

All volunteers are asked to bring wellies, gloves and chairs.

The beach clean is due to last between 11am and 1pm.
