AN Irvine girl has raised £500 after having her hair chopped for charity.
Big-hearted Ciara Chittick, nine, shed her flowing locks in aid of the Little Princess Trust – a charity that supplies wigs to child cancer patients.
The St Mark’s Primary pupil followed in the footsteps of seven-year-old Sophie Campbell who raised roughly the same figure for the same charity with a similar fundraiser.
And Ciara managed to hit her target and raise £500 for the charity.
Well done Ciara!
