THE second annual Irvine beach clean-up will take place this Saturday.

Get ready to come armed with gloves, wellies and chairs and put in a shift to tidy up the beach as well as join in with a full afternoon on fun.

Organised by Coastwatch, the beach-clean will start at 11am and last until 1pm.

And there’s certainly plenty of incentives to help out cleaning the beach.
Vanilla Joes and The Ship Inn have kindly offered to provide free food for anyone who takes part.

Irvine Beat FM will be bringing their roadshow to the Pilot House and any musicians who want to put their talents on show can take part in a jamming session.

The event is part of a series Coastwatch have organised to fund their refurbishment of the iconic Pilot House.

And there’s still time to register for their thrilling zip-slide from the Pilot House on June 25.

Registration costs £25 and anyone taking part must raise £100 sponsorship.
