A 58-year-old man has been arrested
POLICE have arrested a man in connection with the alleged theft of a charity tin from a Kilwinning pub.
The 58-year-old is accused of being involved with removing the tin from the Home bar in Main Street on Sunday, May 8.
A spokesperson for Ayrshire Police Division said: "We can confirm that a 58 year old man from Kilwinning has now been arrested for his alleged involvement in the theft of a charity collection box from a licensed premise in Main Street, Kilwinning on Sunday 8th May 2016.
"A full report has been sent to the Procurator Fiscal."
