AN Irvine fitness fanatic wants people to join him in a mass press-up challenge at Eglinton Park, writes Lewis McKenzie
Scott Brown wants people to join him on Friday, August 12 at 6.30pm to do 22 press-ups in sync to raise awareness of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
Scott’s idea for the event stemmed from a global push-up challenge which circulated online, where participants log a video diary of themselves doing 22 press ups every day for 22 days.
Many people Scott spoke to raised doubts that they could manage to commit to such a schedule, whilst others felt shy about filming their efforts.
He is appealing for as many people as possible to get involved and raise awareness for such a good cause.
