POLICE are still searching for a missing Irvine woman - who disappeared almost three weeks ago.

Michelle Dillon, 48, was reported missing on Friday, August 12 after disappearing from her home in Irvine.

According to police, she has been known to travel round the country and previously been away from home for extended periods of time.

But officers are keen to trace Michelle as she has not been in contact with anyone.

The last known sighting of her was on Wednesday, August 3 in Mount Pleasant Street, Greenock.

Michelle is described as white, 5ft 6in in height, of slim build with brown hair.

Inspector Ian McColl from Irvine Police Office said: “We know Michelle travels round the country and if often away from home for long periods of time, however given that she hasn’t been in contact with anyone, we would like to trace her to make sure she is safe and well.

“I would urge anyone with any information on her whereabouts to contact Irvine Police Office through 101.”
