A CHARITY set up in memory of a tragic Irvine boy are the new sponsors of a youth football team.
Irvine Meadow 2006 are now sponsored by the Kieran Mess Foundation which helps give families with much-needed restbite.
Kieran tragically died in 2006 aged 10 after a seven-year battle with a benign brain tumour.
His parents, Lorna and Frank Mess, set up the foundation not long after Kieran's death in a bid to offer support to families who have gone through a similar heartache.
And now they are hoping to raise further awareness of the foundation by helping sponsor Irvine Meadow 2006.
Pictured top are Frank, Lorna their son Joshua and some of the players who were delighted with the new sponsorship.
