Death 'unexplained' after police find body in Castlepark
A man's body has been found by police in Castlepark.
Police confirmed the incident to the Irvine Times after they found the body in Rannoch Place, Irvine.
The death is currently being treated as unexplained.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: "We can confirm at 3.50pm on Wednesday, June 14, Police received a report of a man's body being found in Rannoch Place in Irvine.
"A post mortem examination will be carried out in due course and the death is currently being treated as unexplained.
"A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
