Two senior members of the ANCHO management team have now both resigned from the association.

The two were previously suspended by the housing provider over allegations of financial irregularities or mismanagement.

ANCHO have confirmed to the Irvine Times that the two senior staff have since resigned from their posts.

The housing provider recently decided to take forward proposals to enter into constitutional partnership discussions with Cairn Housing Association (Cairn).

A spokesperson for the ANCHO Management Board said: “Both senior officers have resigned from their employment with the association.

“We have already engaged interim leadership to work with the board and to lead our staff team through the exciting time ahead and particularly as we firm up the detail of our potential partnership with Cairn Housing Association.

“We remain determined to ensure than this partnership delivers the best possible outcome for the tenants we serve, particularly on rent levels, more investment and better services.

“We will be out talking to customers to test this. We look forward to working with other key stakeholders in this process, particularly North Ayrshire Council, to ensure we reflect their priorities in our plans.”

ANCHO was registered in 2000 and owns and manages 676 houses and provides factoring services to 197 owners.
