HOUSEBUILDERS Persimmon Homes West Scotland has submitted a planning application to build 93 new homes in Irvine.
The developer lodged the detailed planning application with North Ayrshire Council last week to build a range of two, three, four and five bedroom new homes.
Located at Crompton Way, in West Irvine, the proposed £10 million development will transform the 6.5 acre former factory site once the application has been determined by the council’s planning committee.
Doug Law, managing director of Persimmon Homes West Scotland, said: “There are clear signs of increased confidence in the housing market in our region and we are working hard to deliver sites that not only address the needs of the local market but also appeal to buyers.
“The popularity of our existing site, Montgomerie View just half a mile away, prompted us to find new investment opportunities in North Ayrshire and we anticipate a great deal of interest in this latest development.”
Construction at the site, to be named Annick Grange, is anticipated to start in early 2018 with the first properties expected to be marketed for sale by Spring
