A Dreghorn pub has re-opened with a new look and a new name following a major £288,000 investment programme.
The Brae (formerly the Annick Tavern) has undergone a full internal and external refurbishment from national pub company Punch.
The work has included extensive redecoration, new flooring, a new fireplace, changes to the layout to incorporate more dining tables and improvements to the kitchen to cater for a brand new menu.
Fifteen new jobs have also been created as part of the investment.
At the helm of The Brae are new publicans Iain and Emma Mason, who together have some 20 years’ experience in hospitality. Emma previously worked at The Gailes Hotel in Irvine while Iain worked for the nearby Frankie and Benny’s restaurant.
Iain said: “This is the first time we’ve run our own pub and we’re really looking forward to meeting customers and showing them all of the improvements that have been made
