A man has admitted to assaulting his ex-girlfriend in Kilwinning and Saltcoats.
Martin Morsby, of Meikelaught Place, Saltcoats, appeared at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court last week and pled guilty to two charges of assault under the Abusive Behaviour and Sexual Harm (Scotland) Act 2016.
The 42-year-old’s plea of not guilty to a third charge was accepted by the prosecutor.
On July 11 at an address in Saltcoats, Morsby behaved in a threatening or abusive manner, shouted, swore and made threats to his then girlfriend.
On July 12 at Kilwinning Medical Practice, Morsby behaved in a threatening or abusive manner, shouted, swore, acted in an aggressive manner and uttered threats to the woman.
Morsby was granted bail and will return to the court following reports in August.
