Four people have been reported to the Procurator Fiscal following the recovery of alleged class A and B drugs in Irvine.

Police attended a property in Dalrymple Drive, Irvine at around 1.35pm on Saturday 29th July 2017 in possession of a search warrant issued by a Sheriff.

During a search of the property a quantity of alleged class A and B drugs were recovered.

Three men, age 34, 37 and 47, and a woman, age 45, have been reported to the Procurator Fiscal for alleged offences under the Misuse Of Drugs Act 1971 relating to the possession of controlled drugs.

Sergeant Jason Peter, of the Irvine Locality Policing Team, said: “We are committed to keeping people safe and to working with local communities to tackle issues of local concern.

“The supply and misuse of controlled drugs have been identified by local people as a top priority for policing in the area.

“We will continue to act on any information provided to us and I would encourage anyone with any concerns about crime in their community to contact their local policing team.”
