Man admits sending abusive messages to ex
AN Irvine man has admitted to abuse of his ex-girlfriend by sending her offensive and sexually explicit messages.
Scott Hamilton, 42, of Muir Drive, pled guilty at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court last week to one charge.
Hamilton, 42, sent the messages via a public electronic communications network on March 10 at Pladda Wynd in Broomlands.
He sent messages to the woman that were grossly offensive or of an indecent, obscene or menacing character in that he repeatedly sent her messages of an offensive and sexually explicit nature.
Sentence was deferred until January 23 Hamilton was ordained to appear on that date.
