Irvine couple Aileen and Willie Craik celebrated their Golden Wedding anniversary with a family meal at the Millhouse restaurant in Stewarton.
Their daughter Allison did a wonderful job organising the evening, including a few surprises.
Aileen’s sister Muriel travelled down from Aberdeen to share in the celebrations.
The couple met in the early 60s while on holiday in the Isle of Man. Once back in Scotland they resumed their friendship and courted for three years, before marrying in Aileen’s home town of Darvel.
The couple then set up home in Irvine.
They would like to thank all family and friends for cards, presents and best wishes they received to celebrate their anniversary.
Congratulations from all at the Times.
