Former Taggart star John Michie has posted a heartbreaking tribute to his late daughter on his 61st birthday.

Michie posted an image of Louella's blue Arsenal away shirt with the caption: "Missing our runs together so much love #loveforlouella"

The-25-year-old was found dead near the site of the Bestival music festival at Lulworth Castle in Dorset.

A 28-year-old man, who was known to Louella, was arrested on suspicion of murder but was later released.

Police continue to investigate Louella's death but John has since said she died after taking an "illegal substance".

In a statement the Michie family said: "Our hearts are broken by this horrific tragedy.

"We do not believe there to have been any malice intended in Louella and Ceon's weekend at Bestival.

"They appear to have taken an illegal substance but we would appreciate cautious and sensitive reporting until the facts are known.

"Louella inspired all who knew her with her joy of life. The family would like to thank everyone for their heartfelt tributes and messages."

Michie, who currently plays neurosurgeon Guy Self in BBC medical drama Holby City, has two other children, Daisy and Sam.
