A man has admitted to assaulting two women, one of whom he robbed.
Kris Geals, of Kilwinning’s Cambusdoon Place, appeared at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court last week from custody.
He pled guilty to one charge of assault to robbery and one charge of assault.
Geals, 34, assaulted and robbed a woman at the underpass between Pennyburn Road and Eglinton Place in Kilwinning on September 9.
He pushed the woman on the body, struggled with her, and robbed her of her bag and its contents.
Geals struck again on September 13 at the recycling point in Kilwinning’s Byres Road.
He assaulted another woman, pushing her to the ground.
At the time of both offences, Geals was subject to an undertaking to appear at court on September 28.
Sheriff McKenzie deferred sentence for reports.
Geals will return to the court for sentencing at a later date.
